How to Customize The Standard Paper Sizes in Microsoft Word

When working using Adobe software, like in Dreamweaver, there will be times where you require custom paper sizes for a document or form. One of the ways that you can accomplish this is to select custom paper from the main page on the Document tab, or from the Page Setup window if you have one open. Click on the custom link on the main page to change the size of the paper you’ve chosen. Then, select the size you wish to use. Click on the link to change the size of the paper within your document. Select the normal or custom size and then alter the size.

In earlier versions of Dreamweaver, you could find a Page Layout option by clicking on the custom link at the top of the page and selecting Page Layout from main menu. To change the custom sizes of your paper, click the custom link on the page layout window and select the size you wish to use. To alter the custom paper sizes in Dreamweaver earlier versions, you would need to go into the page layout view, then click the link for customized paper sizes, and then alter the sizes. To change the custom paper sizes in later versions of Dreamweaver, you would have to locate the option to layout your page on the main page, then click on custom size.

To change the default printer that is used for printing documents in Windows 10, go to the custom page size control and then click the arrow next to the print button. This will show you the available options and let you choose your preferred printer. To change the default printer, go to the Control Panel, and click on Settings, then under Default, click New.

To change your page’s setup – often referred to as page coordinates, go to the page setup window. There, you will find a page setup slider, which lets you move and change the page configuration. You can move the slider to one side of the screen, and then change the custom size there. You can also move it to the opposite side of the screen. In either case, the custom sizes will be altered.

Go to the device manager to modify the driver for your printer. To look up the drivers for your printer, click the tab that is related to it. There are a variety of printers listed in the list. Some printers will not display drivers in this section, because they have been updated, or their drivers are corrupted. Others, like your Microsoft driver, should be displayed in this section.

Once you have identified the device that is used by your application look at the print server property. The column in the print server properties will list all custom paper sizes. You will usually be able to select one of the options, for example “small”, “wide”, or “normal”. You may not be able to change the size of your paper in some cases. If you are unable select an individual size paper then go to the print menu and alter your default size.

Click on the “sets” button next to “new size” in the print menu. A new size will be displayed, and you can change it by clicking on it. This button is typically located in the left-hand corner of the screen. Click OK to proceed to the next step if you spot it there.

Once you have set the custom sizes of your paper correctly you can save the changes. You will see that the new size has been saved in the print driver. You need to connect this driver to the printer to ensure that the application has been set up. If you’ve restarted the application, be sure that the new size has been saved prior to continuing.
